A bit of a family affair at our painting workshop today. Nice to have a mix of age groups.

We talked a little about composition and the rule of thirds. Drew up our compositions with willow charcoal then started working on the textures. We used tissue paper and texture paste applied with palette knives to create the texture.

By the end of the workshop some were having a good time using their fingers as another great tool for applying paint.

We enjoyed lunch on the balcony, then quickly back to it.

Lovely works created and a few young artists in the making.
