Loosen Up – Creative Acrylics with Chris Postle!

Back in Darwin…it is very hot! …after a fantastic week of painting at USQ McGregor Summer School in Toowomba.

Chris Postle was the wonderful, knowledgeable and easy going tutor. The course was ‘Getting Creative with Acylics’ and we did. Lots of fun experimenting with different techniques of applying paint and being encouraged to use different and exciting colour combinations.

Everyone was very enthusiastic and supportive of each other. It was great to meet new people and to see the amazing and diverse artworks created.

A few of the enthusiastic students

Chris was a very supportive tutor who was able to help everyone to ‘loosen up’,  have a bit of fun and splash some paint around. He encouraged the participants to use the techniques he demonstrated in their own ways and with subjects that were individual.

I hope we can organise to get Chris to come to Darwin and run some weekend workshops. I know he is keen and I’m sure there would be lots of interest!
