A couple of days ago we took a train to Interlaken and then travelled to Lauterbrunnen and rode the Jungfrau railway to the top.

Jungfraujoch is at an elevation of 3466 metres above sea level and just takes your breath away!

On one side there is the view of the Mitterand up to Vosges, on the other the Aletsch Glacier bordered by four thousand metre plus peaks! The view from the top is just amazing, snow, cliffs and just a wonderful sight which every way you turn!

We left the little village of St Jean in the Valais and overnight in Spiez, then the next morning went to Interlarken. The trip back was on one of the lakes from Interlaken to Thun on an old paddle steamer. We had a wonderful couple of days exploring and then back to St Jean and family. It is unbelievable everywhere you look Switzerland – it’s like a picture postcard!
