Edith Falls just north of Katherine is a very popular with both campers and day visitors. If you are not at the campground by about 11am you are likely not to get a site. They even have a billboard at the turn off letting travellers know if they are full.

We joined the queue and set up the camper in the lovely little camp ground complete with patches of green grass. Went for a short stroll and cooled off in the bottom pool and waterfall.

Later in the afternoon we did the Leliyn Loop walk and had a dip in the top pools and enjoyed the scenery. It’s been over 20 years since Bruce has visited and was a first time for me.

Enjoyed a bit more sketching.
